The Top Games to Play in March 2026

The first two months of 2026 have already been pretty great, with Xbox and Switch 2 players finally getting their hands on Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, while games like Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, Nioh 3, High on Life 2, and Mario Tennis Fever offer something for everyone. We also finally saw the release of Mewgenics, which has fueled many people’s obsession of late, with the tactical roguelite’s cat breeding winning over the hearts of many. February’s end sees the release of Resident Evil Requiem, which looks to be a fantastic entry in the storied franchise.

March, however, is packed with games. If nothing in January and February has appealed to you, there’s definitely something in March to mark down on your calendar. It’s a pretty big variety of games, from a cozy Pokémon spinoff to Bungie’s new extraction shooter, from Slay the Spire 2 to Pearl Abyss’s Crimson Desert. This is one of the longest lists we’ve compiled for a month of releases in a while, so buckle up. There are a lot of games to cover.
