The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog continues its strong start to 2026 after adding Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in February and Resident Evil Village and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth in January. Once again, this month’s lineup offers an impressive variety of games, from third-person action to a beloved JRPG. There are some heavy hitters in March, including Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Persona 5 Royal. All titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members starting March 17.

Easily the standout of this month’s lineup is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Players take on the role of Space Marine Titus as they purge Tyranid swarms in a spectacular third-person action game from the creators of World War Z. The campaign is a blast, but the real longevity comes from its endlessly replayable PvE missions supporting up to three players, along with 6v6 PvP matches. If you’ve been on the fence about picking this one up since its launch in 2024, there’s no better time to jump in.

For JRPG fans, Persona 5 Royal joins the catalog on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This is the expanded version of the critically acclaimed RPG, adding new characters, confidants, story content, a new grappling hook mechanic, and an entire third semester. If you haven’t experienced the Phantom Thieves yet, Persona 5 Royal is one of the best JRPGs you can play, easily offering over 100 hours of content. The PlayStation 4 Ultimate Edition is also included, which bundles in all the DLC.

Madden NFL 26 | Image: Tiburon / Electronic Arts

Sports fans get EA Sports Madden NFL 26 on PlayStation 5. This year’s entry uses a new AI-powered machine learning system trained on nearly a decade of real NFL data, bringing player-specific traits and adaptive counters that aim to reflect on-field tendencies more accurately. Whether that translates to a meaningfully better Madden experience is debatable, but it probably doesn’t matter to most Madden NFL fans.

Blasphemous 2 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 is a great pickup for anyone who enjoys punishing Metroidvania-style games. The Penitent One returns in this sequel, thrust back into the cycle of life, death, and resurrection as he explores a new world filled with grotesque enemies and twisted bosses. How you approach the labyrinthine world is up to you, and if you played the original, you know what to expect.

Next up is Metal Eden on PlayStation 5, a sci-fi FPS where players control the advanced Hyper Unit Aska on a suicide mission to rescue citizens from Moebius, a monolithic city that was supposed to be humanity’s new home. It’s all about blasting through machine forces in cybernetic warfare, and it should appeal to anyone looking for a fast-paced shooter.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria | Image: Free Range Games

Those looking for a co-op survival experience can check out The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria on PlayStation 5. Players take control of a company of Dwarves tasked with reclaiming the lost spoils of Khazad-dum. The world is procedurally generated, so no two expeditions are the same, and it can be played either solo or online with friends.

Rounding out the Extra and Premium additions is Astroneer on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This sandbox exploration game lets players reshape terrain, dig through caves, and travel between seven planets in a solar system that’s fully explorable from surface to core. It’s a great co-op game for those who enjoy building and exploring at a more relaxed pace.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers get Tekken Dark Resurrection on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Originally a PSP title, this version of Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection features Story Battle, Arcade Battle, Tekken Dojo, Gold Rush, Tekken Bowl, and character customization. It’s a solid classic for fighting game fans.
