Warhammer Survivors was probably the game I was most excited about from the Warhammer Skulls showcase back in May, and it arrives as a day one release on November 10, right in the middle of a 15-game first wave for November. The wave runs from today, November 3, through November 17 and includes six day one additions, counting the PC and console versions of Football Manager 27 separately, two XBOX Game Pass Premium expansions for games that launched earlier this year, and eight XBOX-published classics heading to the Game Pass Essential library on November 15. That same day, 13 games leave the library, including one I’ve been telling people to play for over a year.

Available today is Football Manager 27 on PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, arriving a week before Football Manager 26 leaves the library on November 10 in both its PC and Console Edition forms. This year’s entry makes changes to navigation and the matchday experience, from the tactics board to the touchline, and Football Manager 27 Console follows on November 10 on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for the same two tiers. Also available today is Pit of Goblin on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for all three tiers, which I covered as the final addition of October’s second wave. Friendly Foe’s online co-op horror game has you playing as a goblin scavenging dungeons to feed the Goblin King-Queen, and coming back empty-handed might make you the next meal.

November 4 brings two games, starting with Vampire Crawlers expanding to XBOX Game Pass Premium on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC after joining Game Pass with April’s second wave. In my review, I found poncle’s turn-based card spin on Vampire Survivors easy to recommend at $9.99, though it shows you all its cards a little too fast, and I put it down after about 30 hours once the combo strategy stopped surprising me. Joining it is Void/Breaker on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for all three tiers. November 4 also marks the roguelite FPS’s 1.0 release out of Early Access, bringing it to XBOX Series X|S and Cloud for the first time alongside a PlayStation 5 launch. Stubby Games’ solo-developed shooter has you fighting machines controlled by a hostile AI, modding weapons into endless variants, and tearing through destructible environments to break out of the cycle.

Day one release Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School leads a trio of November 5 additions, arriving on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Coin Crew Games is calling the sequel the first open-world escape room game, and it supports online and local two-player co-op. Firefighting Simulator: Ignite joins the same day on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for all three tiers, arriving as its predecessor, Firefighting Simulator: The Squad, leaves on November 15. The sequel from astragon and weltenbauer has you playing as a U.S. firefighter alongside up to three friends or an NPC-controlled crew. The third November 5 addition is MySims: Cozy Bundle on Cloud, Console, and PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, bringing the retro re-releases of MySims and MySims Kingdom to console and Cloud.

November 10 matches that with three more additions, as Football Manager 27 Console is joined by two more day one releases. Warhammer Survivors arrives on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. As I noted last month, Auroch Digital built the officially licensed bullet heaven with poncle using the same engine as Vampire Survivors, and it packs more than 40 playable characters from Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar along with over 75 weapons for $7.99 outside of Game Pass. It’s also one of our top games to play in November 2026.

Tanuki: Pon’s Summer is the other day one release on November 10, arriving on Cloud, Console, and PC for the same two tiers. You play as Pon, a tanuki with a part-time job at the post office, delivering packages on a BMX and helping the townsfolk get the shrine ready for the Tanuki Festival, which is only a month away. Denkiworks’ adventure also launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, and Switch 2 that day.

Hope in the City | Image:
Lofty Sky Entertainment Inc.

Hope in the City follows on November 11 as a day one release on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Lofty Sky Games’ mystery adventure is set in Shenyang, China, where 17-year-old Hope Song comes home from her national exams to a ransacked apartment and two missing parents. She investigates their disappearance by turning her sketches into evidence. Thronefall joins the same day on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for all three tiers. GrizzlyGames’ minimalist strategy game has you building a small kingdom by day and defending it by night, and it currently sits at Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam with over 11,000 user reviews in English, two years after its 1.0 release.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando arrives on November 12 on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for all three tiers, eight months after its March 12 launch. Saber Interactive’s four-player co-op zombie shooter has a failed attempt to tap Earth’s core turning the soil into sludge and the living into the undead, so scientist Leon Dorsey hires the Toxic Commandos to clean it up.

Game Pass Essential subscribers get their own batch on November 15, with eight older XBOX-published titles, most of them from Rare, joining that tier’s library:

  • Banjo-Kazooie (Cloud and Console)
  • Banjo-Tooie (Cloud and Console)
  • Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (Cloud and Console)
  • Gears of War: Judgment (Cloud and Console)
  • Halo: Spartan Assault (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Perfect Dark (Cloud and Console)
  • Viva Piñata (Cloud and Console)
  • Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise (Cloud and Console)

Two more games arrive on November 17 to close out the wave, starting
