The second half of April is bringing another stacked wave of titles to Game Pass, and headlining the batch is a trio of day one releases kicking off on April 21 with Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors. Available on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, Vampire Crawlers has been one of our most anticipated games of 2026 since Poncle unveiled it at last year’s Xbox Partner Preview. It turns the snowballing chaos of Vampire Survivors into a turn-based, card-driven roguelite dungeon crawler, and based on the demo during Steam Next Fest, it’s shaping up to be a worthy spin-off.

Also available April 21 are Little Rocket Lab on Cloud, Console, and PC and Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato on Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC. Both join the Game Pass Premium library on top of their existing Ultimate and PC Game Pass availability. Little Rocket Lab is a cozy machine-building RPG where you help the locals of St. Ambroise build a rocket, while Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato is an emotional narrative adventure set in South America that follows Miho as he falls into a magical world while fetching a potato for his grandma.

April 23 brings Kiln, another day one release, on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Described as a pottery power fantasy, Kiln lets players create ceramic creations and then bring those creations into battle in online arenas. It’s definitely a creative concept, and the kind of weird game that fits nicely in a Game Pass lineup.

Aphelion | Image: Don't Nod

Looking toward the end of the month, Aphelion arrives on April 28 as another day one release on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. Developed by Don’t Nod, the team behind Jusant and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Aphelion is a third-person sci-fi adventure where astronaut Ariane crash-lands on a frozen planet and has to save her injured partner, Thomas. Players control both characters in a story rooted in real-world science, created in partnership with the European Space Agency.

The next day, April 29, sees Trepang2 arrive on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. It’s a gory, action-packed FPS set in the near future, where players dodge bullets and leave a trail of destruction in what promises to be a hardcore and frenetic shooter.

April 30 is a big day with three more day one releases. Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era launches in Game Preview on PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. It’s the official prequel to the genre-defining turn-based strategy series, letting players raise grand armies and wield devastating spells in both solo and multiplayer. Sledding Game also joins in Game Preview on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for the same tiers, and it’s a multiplayer snow-sports hangout with proximity voice chat where players can race downhill, pull off tricks, or just relax with friends while avoiding the yeti. Rounding out the trio is TerraTech Legion on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, a Bullet Heaven Builder that has players constructing battle vehicles to survive against an army of robotic foes.

Final Fantasy V | Image: Square Enix

Finally, the wave wraps up on May 5 with Final Fantasy V on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. This is another entry in the Pixel Remaster series, which has been rolling out to Game Pass steadily over the past few months, including Final Fantasy in January, Final Fantasy II in February, Final Fantasy III in March, and Final Fantasy IV earlier this month in Wave 1. The classic Job System makes its debut in Final Fantasy V, giving players plenty of build variety as they follow a young man and his Chocobo on their adventure.

Xbox also mentioned an ID@Xbox and IGN showcase coming soon, spotlighting upcoming games including There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, Aphelion, and Mistfall Hunter, all of which will be coming day one to Game Pass. It’s worth tuning in if you want an early look at what’s next for the service.

On the departures side, here’s what’s leaving Game Pass on April 30:
