Almost a year after Auroch Digital revealed Warhammer Survivors, the bullet heaven it’s making in partnership with poncle and Warhammer finally has a release date. Warhammer Survivors launches on November 10 for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, Android, iOS, and PC via Steam and GOG, and it’ll also be available day one on XBOX Game Pass. For those who would rather own it outright, the game costs $7.99, with a 10 percent launch and preorder discount on select platforms. Preorders on PlayStation 5, Switch, and Switch 2 open today in select territories, XBOX Series X|S preorders begin on October 27, and mobile players can preregister on Android and iOS.
Warhammer Survivors runs on the same engine as Vampire Survivors, and its roster now includes more than 40 playable characters from Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, including Malum Caedo from Auroch’s own Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. The arsenal covers more than 75 weapons, from the Chainsword to Orbital Bombardment, along with hobby-inspired attacks like dumping buckets of dice or spilling pots of Nuln Oil on enemies. Stages and modes span the 41st Millennium and the Mortal Realms, and the boss lineup includes the Norn Emissary, while Extremis Bosses are designed to challenge even veteran survivors-like players. As is standard for the genre, there are also passives, power-ups, and rule-bending unlockables, along with secrets to uncover and collectibles to find.
For those who can’t wait until November, a new demo is out now on Steam and XBOX on PC with two more playable champions and changes based on community feedback. The new champions are the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Revenya, an ally of Callis and Toll. Auroch first put out a Steam demo during Warhammer Skulls 2026 in May, when I said Warhammer Survivors was probably what I was most excited about from the showcase. Auroch Digital’s other Warhammer game this fall, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, launches next week on October 14.
