Tokyo Game Show 2026 runs September 17 through 21 at Makuhari Messe, and Capcom is getting a head start on the event with a Capcom Spotlight stream on Wednesday, September 16 at 7:00 AM Pacific (10:00 AM Eastern). The online program promises the latest news on Capcom titles, though the company hasn’t detailed which games will actually appear in the broadcast itself. Stream timing is subject to change.
On the exhibition floor, Capcom is bringing six titles, led by Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, the expansion planned for 2027, and Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, which was set for October 9 at the June Capcom Spotlight. Mega Man: Dual Override rounds out the 2027 slate, while Onimusha: Way of the Sword launches this September and Pragmata, which I called my favorite game of 2026 so far in my review, is already out. Street Fighter 6 completes the lineup.
Partner exhibitors fill out the rest of the booth, with a playable demo of Monster Hunter Outlanders, a shooting range from airsoft maker Tokyo Marui, and an exhibition for the Street Fighter movie that hits theaters October 16. The E-Capcom online store is also returning with a Tokyo Game Show 2026 special store packed with collabs and commemorative items. Business days run September 17 and 18, with public days following from September 19 through 21.
Since Capcom hasn’t said which of these games will feature in the Spotlight stream, the exhibition lineup is the best guide we have for now.
