Koei Tecmo laid out its Tokyo Game Show 2026 plans today, and at the center of it all is a dedicated Attack on Titan 3 stage on the Koei Tecmo Live! program featuring Yu Kobayashi and Shiori Mikami, who voice Sasha and Krista. The stage streams live on YouTube at 11:40 PM Pacific on September 19 (2:40 AM Eastern on September 20), which is the afternoon of September 20 in Japan, and Koei Tecmo says it will bring more details on the game ahead of launch.
Attack on Titan 3 locked in its December 10 release date last month for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with Japanese voices and text in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. As I mentioned when the game was announced at Summer Game Fest, it’s the first Omega Force entry to cover the full story from start to finish, after Wings of Freedom and Attack on Titan 2 each stopped partway through, and while a lot of fans didn’t care for the anime’s final season, I thought it wrapped things up well. The game also adds open exploration beyond the walls, which Koei Tecmo detailed over the summer.
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember and Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered each get their own special stage as well. The Wo Long 2 segment has commentator Otsuichi walking through strategies for the Team Ninja sequel, which was revealed at the XBOX Games Showcase in June for an early 2027 launch, while the first game’s Complete Edition hits Switch 2 this month. Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered is set for October 1, so its stage arrives a couple of weeks before release.
The rest of the program centers on the 40th anniversary of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, with Kou Shibusawa, the pen name of Koei founder Yoichi Erikawa, on stage to talk through how the series has evolved and to discuss what Koei Tecmo is only calling a special unannounced project. The full KOEI TECMO Live! at TGS 2026 broadcast kicks off at 4:00 AM Pacific (7:00 AM Eastern) on September 18, hosted by Haruka Mori and comedy duo Nasunakanishi, with the complete schedule posted on the Tokyo Game Show website.
