Capcom used the latest Nintendo Direct to line up three of its action franchises for Nintendo Switch 2, with releases stretching from June through October.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen brings the action RPG to Nintendo Switch 2 for the first time, bundling the base game with the long-awaited Dark Arisen Expansion. It launches October 9, 2026 on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam for $49.99, and existing owners on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC can buy the Dark Arisen Expansion on its own as DLC for $29.99.

The expansion sends the Arisen to the long-abandoned northern region of Norgan to join the enigmatic Eir and unravel the secrets of the undying Fallen Dragon, with forgotten relics to appraise for new weapons and skills, 12 Lost Rites Dungeon Challenges, and fresh Character Creator options like new hairstyles and tattoos. Ahead of all that, two updates are coming to the base game: a June 9 patch adds the reusable Eternal Ferrystone for easier fast travel along with quality-of-life tweaks, and an end-of-August update brings improved frame rates, more save slots, and further refinements.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the first brand-new entry in the series in 20 years, comes to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 25, 2026, launching the same day as the PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC versions. It follows the young samurai Miyamoto Musashi as he wields the mystical Oni Gauntlet against the monstrous Genma invading Edo-period Kyoto, and the Switch 2 version adds optional motion controls through the Joy-Con 2 for sword combat and bow aiming. Preorders are open today via the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Steam, and other major storefronts.

Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition

Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition rounds things out, bringing the action game to Nintendo Switch 2 digitally on June 23, 2026. The edition runs at 60 FPS in both TV and handheld modes and packs in the Vergil playable character DLC plus extras like costume colors, taunts, and battle tracks, letting you play as Nero, Dante, V, or Vergil. It carries a price tag of $39.99, but preordering or buying digitally by July 31, 2026 locks in a discounted price of $29.99.
