PlayStation Plus Game Catalog June 2026 Lineup

PlayStation Plus is changing things up for June, rolling out its Game Catalog lineup in waves rather than on a single date. Sony says it’s exploring new ways to deliver Game Catalog titles in select markets, which means games will arrive on varying dates throughout the month in the U.S., the UK, and Japan, while all other regions get the full lineup on June 16. After last month’s additions of Star Wars Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption 2, June answers with a heavy hitter of its own.

Headlining this month’s lineup is Final Fantasy XVI on PlayStation 5, the first fully fledged action RPG in the mainline series. Players take on the role of Clive Rosfield, First Shield of Rosaria, in a darker tale of revenge and power struggles set in the blighted land of Valisthea. In my Final Fantasy XVI review, I called it an over-the-top adventure full of spectacles and annoyances, which pretty much sums up the essence of every Final Fantasy game ever made. It delivers some of the highest highs in gaming alongside some of the lowest lows, though even after spending over 50 hours on the main story and side quests, I jumped straight into New Game+ for Final Fantasy Mode. If you skipped it in 2023, this is your chance to see what all the Eikon fuss is about. Final Fantasy XVI will be available globally on June 16.

The staggered rollout actually starts with Sonic X Shadow Generations on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, available today, June 10, in the U.S. and the UK, with Japan following on June 11. The package gives Shadow a complete campaign of his own, with the return of his old nemesis Black Doom forcing him to confront painful memories and unlock new powers along the way. It also includes a full remaster of 2011’s Sonic Generations with upgraded 2D and 3D stages. The collection crossed one million units sold shortly after its late 2024 launch.

Next up on June 23 is Kingdom Come: Deliverance on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the story-driven open world RPG set in medieval Bohemia. You play as Henry, a blacksmith’s son who loses his family and village to a raging civil war and grabs a sword to fight back against the invading forces. The PlayStation 5 version includes the next-gen update we covered back in February, which brought 4K resolution, an improved framerate, and high resolution textures to the 2018 original.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure on PlayStation 5 also arrives on June 23, bringing back Max Caulfield, the protagonist of the original game. Now the photographer-in-residence at Caledon University, Max discovers her closest friend Safi dead in the snow, and her attempt to rewind time instead opens a parallel timeline where Safi is still alive. Players forge allies and pursue suspects across both versions of reality, shaping the two timelines through their choices. It isn’t the last we see of the series either, as Life is Strange: Reunion brings Chloe back in the follow-up to Double Exposure.

The final wave lands on June 30, starting with Farming Simulator 25 on PlayStation 5, the latest entry in the long-running farming sim series. This installment introduces rice farming and new crops like spinach, along with new environments across East Asia, North America, and Central Europe. With more than 400 machines from 150 agricultural brands, new animals, production chains, and construction missions, there’s plenty to keep virtual farmers busy solo or in multiplayer.

Blades of Fire on PlayStation 5 comes from MercurySteam, the team behind Metroid Dread. Players take on the role of Aran de Lira, the last warrior capable of forging true steel in a world where metal turns to stone. Combat is deliberate and unforgiving. Weapons are forged at the anvil through choices that permanently shape their behavior and balance, and victory comes down to patience, positioning, and understanding the blade you built.

Rounding out the Extra and Premium additions is Black Desert on PlayStation 5, the open world MMORPG from Pearl Abyss. The game spans everything from siege wars and guild battles to life skills like trade, fishing, horse training, alchemy, and cooking. Pearl Abyss has had quite the run lately, with Crimson Desert surpassing five million copies sold within about a month of launch.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also get access to Gitaroo Man on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, marking the first time the PlayStation 2 rhythm classic has appeared on either console. Players follow U-1, a young hero who goes from loser to legend with the mythical Gitaroo, an instrument-turned-weapon powered by music. It features the classic soundtrack and colorful designs from Japanese illustrator 326, and it will be available globally on June 16. Whether the staggered rollout sticks around past June remains to be seen, but at the very least, U.S. subscribers can start playing Sonic X Shadow Generations today.
