The votes have been cast, and the community has chosen the winners of the 2025 Steam Awards. As usual, the Steam Awards are entirely voted on by eligible Steam users, including the finalists for each category, which were announced on December 18. For the most part, there aren’t many surprises in this year’s results, although RV There Yet? winning the Sit Back and Relax Award is pretty funny. If you’ve played it, you probably understand, because there’s always that one person in your group who’s sitting back and relaxing instead of helping.

Steam users also voted for a different Game of the Year than The Game Awards 2025. Considering the discourse surrounding Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 after it took home nine awards at the annual show, it’s not really a surprise that a public vote steered away from it.
