Valve shared its full 2026 events schedule back in January, and it’s now getting even further ahead of things by locking in the first half of 2027 before this summer is even over. The newly published schedule covers January through June 2027 and includes 11 themed fests, two Next Fest events, and the Spring and Summer seasonal sales. Valve also reshared the remaining 2026 events alongside the announcement, and those are unchanged from the schedule we covered in January.
The first big sales event of 2027 will be the Steam Spring Sale from March 18 to March 25, followed by the Steam Summer Sale from June 24 to July 8. As we mentioned when covering the 2026 schedule, the Summer Sale is typically one of the best times to grab games, since it usually has the deepest discounts, though the Winter Sale has matched it in recent years. Before any of that, the Steam Winter Sale 2026 still bridges the gap, running from December 17 through January 4, 2027.
There are also two Next Fest events on the calendar, with the first running from February 22 to March 1 and the second from June 14 to June 21. These remain great for checking out up and coming games, and they give smaller developers a chance to be the center of attention. As for the themed fests, Valve found some genuinely out-there corners of the catalog to celebrate this time, with the lineup including Sheep Fest, Desktop Companion Fest, and Dinos vs. Robots Fest, which is exactly what it sounds like.
