The Switch 2 continues to scoop up games that skipped Nintendo hardware the first time around, and Team Ninja’s dark Three Kingdoms action RPG is next in line. KOEI TECMO America and Team Ninja announced today that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition arrives on Switch 2 on September 3, 2026, marking the series’ first appearance on a Nintendo platform. The news lands just days after Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember was revealed during the XBOX Games Showcase.

The Complete Edition bundles the base game with all three major DLC packs, Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, and Upheaval in Jingxiang, alongside the endgame content The Thousand-Mile Journey. Those additional scenarios bring characters from the armies of Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and Liu Bei, plus three extra weapon types in cestuses, long swords, and whips, along with new stages, new Divine Beasts, and more challenging difficulty levels. The package also carries over the game’s collaborative DLC, adding equipment and stages from Nioh 2, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, and Lies of P.

Switch 2 players will also receive the three armor sets included with the original release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, namely the Baihu, Zhuque, and Qinglong Armor, plus The Records of the Grand Historian, an in-game item that reveals the location of Marking Flags on the mini-map. To celebrate the launch, an exclusive Xuanwu Armor set will be available to all Switch 2 owners of the game. First released in 2023, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has surpassed five million players and sold over one million copies worldwide, with the Complete Edition following in February 2024.

As for the sequel, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is scheduled for early 2027 across PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, arriving day one with XBOX Game Pass. Team Ninja says the follow-up further refines the original’s fast-paced, tactical combat with the addition of defensive Chinese martial arts, including the ability to deflect incoming attacks, while the Morale system makes a return. In the meantime, the Complete Edition is already available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBOX One, XBOX Series X|S, and PC. Switch 2 owners who pick up Lies of P when it makes its Nintendo debut on August 6 will find its crossover gear waiting in Wo Long just a month later.
