The winter window Koei Tecmo locked in last month now has an exact date attached to it. Koei Tecmo America and developer Omega Force announced today that Attack on Titan 3 launches December 10, 2026, on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

Announced at Summer Game Fest back in June, Attack on Titan 3 is the first game in Omega Force’s action series to adapt Hajime Isayama’s story from beginning to end, following 2016’s Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom and 2018’s Attack on Titan 2, both of which stopped partway through. You play as a created member of the Scout Regiment, reliving the story’s major events alongside Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and the rest of the cast. As I said when the game was revealed, I thought the anime’s final season was a bittersweet ending, even knowing plenty of fans didn’t feel the same, so I’m curious how the game handles that stretch of the story.

As for editions, the standard release comes in digital and physical formats, and a Steelbook launch edition featuring ICONART is available to preorder on all physical platforms. The Digital Deluxe Edition bundles the base game with a digital artbook, a character customization pack, an original equipment pack, a starter item pack, and a 72-hour early access key. Preordering any digital copy nets you the Wings of Freedom Earrings customization item, while everyone who buys the game, physical or digital, gets the Wings of Freedom Hoodie as an early purchase bonus.

One more detail worth flagging is that anyone with save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will receive additional in-game bonuses, as long as the save lives on the same console you play Attack on Titan 3 on. As for what those bonuses actually include, Koei Tecmo says more details are coming at a later date. The game ships with Japanese voices and text support in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
