With the XBOX Games Showcase now behind us, XBOX is closing out June with a Wave 2 that leans heavily on big, recognizable franchises rather than the day one indies that filled the first wave. EA Sports FC 26, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remake all turn up across the back half of the month, with a couple of additions trickling into early July. The lineup seems a bit light, amidst rumors of XBOX studio closures and layoffs around the corner. Then again, these lineups are usually locked months in advance, so it’s likely just coincidental. Here’s everything on the way.
The wave is technically already underway, since Junkster went live today, June 16. It’s on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, casting you as UM-13, a plucky construction bot stranded on a junkyard planet with only a trusty robo-wrench to repair his ship and recover a lost cargo of human artifacts.
The next addition comes a day later, as Call of Duty: Vanguard joins on June 17 across Cloud, Console, and PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. Sledgehammer Games’ World War II shooter hops between fronts, from dogfights over the Pacific to a sniper’s stand at Stalingrad, and packs in the full suite of campaign, multiplayer, and a Zombies experience built by Treyarch.

EA Play factors into the wave on June 18, when EA Sports FC 26 lands on The Play List for Cloud, Console, and PC, available to XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. A Supercharge Pack runs from June 18 to July 17 with recurring rewards like Football Ultimate Team Draft Tokens and seasonal Clubs rewards, and members shave 10 percent off EA digital purchases.
After a week’s gap, things take a turn for the strange on June 25 with Abyssus, a fast-paced “brinepunk” FPS roguelite for one to four players on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. Stranded in the underwater ruins of a lost civilization, you blast through its lethal denizens with ultra-customizable weapons, skills, and hundreds of power-ups.
June 30 caps the month with RV There Yet? on Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC for all three tiers, a co-op road trip through the deadly Mabutts Valley. It’s part of the rising “friendslop” genre, where you and your friends pile into an RV and try to survive the back country on the way home from vacation. Having played it over the holiday break, we’ll say it takes real communication and even a bit of ingenuity to make it through. It’s a fun time though, assuming you have the right friends to play it with!

The wave keeps rolling into July, and arguably its marquee addition is the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake on July 2. Landing on Cloud, Console, and PC, it joins XBOX Game Pass Premium alongside Ultimate and PC Game Pass, bringing back the series staples with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, and a soundtrack to match.
Rounding things out on July 6 is Winds of Arcana: Ruination, a story-rich, fully voiced 2.5D action Metroidvania on Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers. You play as Aryn, wielding powerful magic to save his comrades and uncover the forces shaping a sundered world.
The following games are leaving the XBOX Game Pass library on June 30, 2026. XBOX Game Pass subscribers can save 20 percent on these titles before they go.
- Mecha Break (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Payday 2 (Console)
- Rise of the Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Slay the Spire (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Ultimate Chicken Horse (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Volcano Princess (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Unpacking (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Unpacking is the one we’ve actually spent real time with before it heads out. In our 2HR review, I found it a genuinely unique and relaxing puzzle game that deserves credit for what it does, even if it wasn’t quite for me and started to feel repetitive after about an hour. If a quiet game about unpacking boxes and piecing together someone’s life sounds appealing, it’s an easy one to try before it leaves.
