Looks like the Switch 2 Choose Your Game Bundle Nintendo announced last week is already on sale, ahead of the early June availability window the original announcement called out. The $499.99 bundle pairs a Nintendo Switch 2 with a download code for one of three first-party titles: Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokémon Pokopia. The bundle is available now at Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon.
The value here works out to $29.99 off if you pick Mario Kart World or Donkey Kong Bananza, since the bundle adds $50 to the standalone $449.99 Switch 2 price and both games normally retail for $79.99. Pokémon Pokopia saves you $19.99, since it normally costs $69.99. For anyone who has been on the fence about jumping into the Switch 2, this is the best deal Nintendo has put out for the console so far.
The timing is the bigger story, though. Nintendo’s $50 price increase on the Switch 2 kicks in on September 1, 2026, taking the standalone console from $449.99 to $499.99. That makes the Choose Your Game Bundle a smart buy right now since you’re paying the post-hike price today but getting a free first-party game worth up to $79.99 thrown in. Anyone who waits past September 1 will pay the same $499.99 just for the console. All three available titles are among the strongest Switch 2 exclusives released so far, and we reviewed each of them positively, calling Pokopia “the best Pokémon game I’ve ever played” and naming Donkey Kong Bananza one of the standout Switch 2 launch window titles.
The Switch 2 Choose Your Game Bundle is available for a limited time while supplies last.
