Last week, PlayStation gamers got their annual wrap-up, detailing their gaming habits on Sony’s platform. Now, Steam users can see how they spent their time this year with the Steam Replay 2025. As usual, the summary is enlightening and perhaps embarrassing for some, especially once you realize just how much time you’ve spent gaming throughout the year.

As for myself, I played 39 games this year, which is 10 more than last year. I managed to unlock 636 achievements in 2025, an increase of 266 compared to 2024. Interestingly, I spent more time this year playing with a controller than in years past. It makes sense, since I found myself more comfortably using a controller in games like Megabonk, Hades II, Monster Hunter Wilds, and even Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

My top three most played games weren’t much of a surprise. Umamusume: Pretty Derby tops the list because I tend to leave it running in the background, while Megabonk came in third. I’m actually surprised by how much time I spent in Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure this year for my review. Coming in fourth on my list was Monster Hunter Wilds, while Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles rounded out my top five.

Not surprisingly, my playtime by month was highest from August through September, two months that nearly had weekly releases. During that period, my longest daily streak was 58 days, during which I played 13 different games ranging from Borderlands 4 to Dying Light: The Beast.
