Each year, Steam just gets bigger and bigger, and those who have been gaming on the platform for years know to look forward to certain sales and events. Over the last few years, Steam has added many more events to its calendar, known as Fests, which typically celebrate a specific genre or niche. These are in addition to the seasonal sales events, which often see tens of thousands of games discounted. If you’re like us and want to mark your calendar for many of these events, Steam has shared the full schedule for 2026.

The first big sales event of the year will be the Steam Spring Sale from March 19 to March 26. The popular Steam Summer Sale will arrive on June 25 and run through July 9. This is one of the best times to grab games, since the Summer Sale typically has the best discounts. Although in recent years, the Winter Sale has matched it. This year, the Autumn Sale will run from October 1 to October 8, tiding gamers over until December 17, when the Winter Sale arrives. It’ll run until January 4, 2027.

There are also several Next Fest events to look forward to, with the first one coming on February 23. These are great for checking out up and coming games, and they give smaller developers a chance to be the center of attention.
