Remedy Entertainment has teamed up with Fried Music and Nordic Music Partners on Zoe’s Mixtape, a compilation of six original songs written for Control Resonant that’s streaming now on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms. In the game, Dylan Faden builds a friendship with his Federal Bureau of Control handler, Zoe, an avid music lover who shares some of her favorite tracks with him during key moments of the story, and those tracks make up the mixtape. Every song was written specifically for Control Resonant and tied to a particular moment in Dylan and Zoe’s journey, with the whole thing produced in close collaboration with Remedy’s team and creative director Mikael Kasurinen.

The first single from Zoe’s Mixtape, “Manalan Mailla” featuring Vilma Jää, debuted alongside the Paranatural Manhattan trailer during Summer Game Fest in June and has since gone on to attract millions of streams. The project continues an existing collaboration between Remedy, Fried Music, and Nordic Music Partners, with songwriters and producers including Teemu Brunila, Jurek Reunamäki, and Lucas Kihlman among those involved. “It has been artistically very rewarding to continue and deepen my collaboration with Remedy Entertainment,” said Jurek, producer and songwriter. “The original Control is one of my most memorable gaming experiences, so the world and lore were already quite familiar to me. Working alongside Teemu Brunila, Vilma Jää, and Lucas Kihlman was also incredibly inspiring, and I can’t wait to hear the music we created inside the game.”

Here’s the complete track list for Zoe’s Mixtape, along with who produced each song:

  • “Say What” (produced by Jurek)
  • “No Chains Can Last Forever” (produced by RZY and Jean Castel)
  • “A World I’m Ready to Live and Die For” featuring Costee and Frida Amundsen (produced by Heviteemu)
  • “Manalan Mailla” featuring Vilma Jää (produced by Jurek)
  • “Fight for Control (We Go To War)” featuring Heviteemu (produced by Heviteemu)
  • “Another World” featuring Frida Amundsen and Sakima (produced by Skywalk)

Control Resonant launches digitally on September 24 for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, with GeForce NOW support at launch, and preorders are open for both digital and physical editions. The game also skips traditional difficulty settings in favor of assist sliders. Physical copies for PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S were pushed back to October 15, and a Mac version via Steam and the App Store is due later in 2026. Remedy is publishing the game itself, with Annapurna Pictures co-financing and co-producing as part of the two companies’ partnership.
