Street Fighter’s second-ever guest character, Mai Shiranui, will join the Street Fighter 6 roster on February 5, 2025, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Mai’s move set is inspired by a variety of SNK classics mixed with the modern touches of Street Fighter 6’s mechanics. Like previous character additions, Mai will be available in all three game modes: Fighting Ground, Battle Hub, and as a Master in World Tour. She’ll launch with two outfits; the first resembles her classic style from the Fatal Fury series, while the second outfit is based on her newest look in the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Outfit 2 can be acquired with Fighter Coins or by maxing out your bond with Mai in World Tour.

Mai is included for players who own or purchase the Year 2 Character Pass or the Year 2 Ultimate Pass. She will also be available for purchase with Fighter Coins. Mai joins M. Bison and Terry Bogard as the other Year 2 characters already available, while Elena will be the final addition sometime in spring 2025.
