Arjun Is Now Available in Street Fighter 6
Arjun, a framed former cop from India, is out now in Street Fighter 6 as the second Year 4 fighter, alongside a C. Viper swimsuit outfit.
Last month, Capcom confirmed Arjun would join Street Fighter 6 on October 13, and the second Year 4 character is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Arjun served as a police officer in India until the day his partner was murdered and he was framed for the crime, which has him trying to uncover the mystery behind his partner’s death. To play as him, you’ll need to own or purchase the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass, and he’s playable in both Fighting Ground and Battle Hub. Arjun follows Yasmine, the high schooler from the Philippines who kicked off Year 4 in August.
Arjun’s Yoga Breathing techniques make him a powerhouse who sacrifices speed for strength, and his strikes can deal recoverable damage even when his opponent blocks them. He also has projectiles and traps that Capcom says can be combined to take an opponent down all at once. As for his outfits, Outfit 1 depicts Arjun on the run in pursuit of vengeance, and Outfit 2 represents an idealized version of him who has put his quest for justice behind him. Outfit 2 can be unlocked by maxing out his Acquisition Gauge in Avatar Arcade Mode or with Fighter Coins.
Arjun’s release also brings Outfit 4 for C. Viper, the latest addition to the game’s swimsuit series. That leaves two characters on the Year 4 roster, with Tifa from the Final Fantasy VII Remake series arriving in early 2027 and Bosch, who trained under Luke in Metro City, following in spring 2027. When I reviewed Street Fighter 6 in 2023, I said I’d be surprised if Street Fighter 7 arrived anytime soon, since it was a game Capcom could keep building on until the next generation of consoles arrived. Arjun’s full command list and frame data are up on his character page on the Street Fighter 6 website.
