Rockstar Games released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI today, just over a month before the game arrives on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. It’s the first new footage since Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look premiered on Netflix on August 27, and Rockstar says the trailer was captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5. The trailer is also set to new music from electronic duo Justice, the composers of the game’s original score.

The setup is the same one Rockstar laid out when Trailer 2 introduced Leonida’s regions in May 2025. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos have always known the deck is stacked against them, and when an easy score goes wrong, the two end up in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state. They’ll have to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.

Justice’s involvement goes further than the score, as the duo’s new standalone single, Flower in a Hurricane, features Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and is out now. The song is also part of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack, which can be pre-saved on all major streaming services and is up for preorder on vinyl and CD. Rockstar says more details on the game’s music are coming, including an official score album.

Preorders have been open since June 25 at $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. The physical version ships without a disc, which is why we joked last month that the two limited edition DualSense controllers launching alongside the game might be the most physical part of the purchase. Grand Theft Auto VI came in at number six on our most anticipated games of 2026 list, up from 12 the year before. We admitted in that post that we’ve never been huge Grand Theft Auto fans, so we’re going in to see whether it wins us over. The full announcement is on the Rockstar Newswire.
