Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, a new video premiering on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 12:00 PM Pacific (3:00 PM Eastern). The company didn’t share a runtime or say what the video covers, but it will be the first new Grand Theft Auto VI video from Rockstar since Trailer 2 arrived back in May 2025.

For those without a Netflix subscription, the same video hits the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI site later that evening at 6:00 PM Pacific (9:00 PM Eastern). That gives Netflix a six-hour head start.

The premiere lands a little under three months ahead of launch, a date that has held since Rockstar delayed the game a second time. Preorders have been open since June 25 at $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S.
