Rockstar Games has finally set a date for Grand Theft Auto VI preorders, confirming they go live June 25 across digital storefronts and select retailers. The studio also revealed the game’s official cover art in a new video, with the artwork available to download from rockstargames.com/VI.

FullCleared has called Grand Theft Auto VI possibly the most anticipated game ever, and the cover art reveal keeps Rockstar’s marketing rolling ahead of launch. The game has already been delayed twice, sliding from a fall 2025 window to May 2026 and then to its current November 19, 2026 release date. It’s launching on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S, with no PC version planned for the initial release.

The game heads to the Florida-inspired state of Leonida and a return to Vice City, following the criminal duo of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos that Rockstar introduced in the second trailer. When the November delay hit, I figured the internet would start taking bets on a 2027 slip. So far, it hasn’t happened, and it’s looking like Rockstar is sticking to that November date.
