Rockstar Games has filled in the details on the Grand Theft Auto VI preorders it set for June 25, confirming pricing and editions ahead of launch. Preorders go live at midnight local time, with the Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99, both ahead of the November 19, 2026 release on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. We’ve called it possibly the most anticipated game ever, and there’s still no PC version planned for the initial launch.

The physical version of Grand Theft Auto VI does not include a disc. The box holds a download code instead. That physical release arrives November 12, a week ahead of launch, so buyers can still preload the full game, and digital preorders can begin preloading the same day to be ready for November 19.

As for the two different editions, the Standard covers the single-player campaign and the Ultimate Edition adds a collection of in-game vehicles, weapons, apparel, and “action” tied to that story. Every preorder, plus any purchase made before November 20, also includes the Vintage Vice City Pack, while digital preorders tack on a free month of GTA+ that unlocks the GTA+ Games Library, including Grand Theft Auto V and other classic Rockstar titles.

Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed twice, sliding from a fall 2025 window to May 2026 and then to its current November 19 date, and it will be sold through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store, and global retailers. When that latest delay hit, I figured the internet would start betting on a 2027 slip. Preorders opening this week make it look more and more like Rockstar is finally holding the line.
