Pearl Abyss’s milestone announcements are starting to feel like a habit, and the latest one pushes Crimson Desert past six million copies sold worldwide. The publisher shared the news today while thanking every Greymane who has stepped into Pywel, noting that players’ adventures continue to make the game’s journey even more special.

The sales pace has been remarkable from the start. Crimson Desert sold two million copies on launch day back in March, hit three million within five days, and surpassed five million in less than a month. Reaching six million took just 83 days, a run Pearl Abyss calls an unprecedented sales milestone for a Korean-developed single-player game, particularly for a new IP in a market traditionally dominated by established franchises. According to Circana data cited by the company, Crimson Desert currently ranks second in 2026 year-to-date U.S. video game sales.

The milestone arrives as Pearl Abyss continues to build out the game, with a wave of content and feature updates rolling out gradually from June through September. Crimson Desert is available on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, along with Mac.
