The next addition to Street Fighter 6’s ever-growing roster, C. Viper, will be available on October 15. The undercover agent, who was first introduced in Street Fighter IV, now works as the research director for SiRN, cleaning up remnants of Shadaloo. As usual, C. Viper can be acquired with the Street Fighter 6 Year 3 Character Pass, Year 3 Ultimate Pass, or individually with Fighter Coins. She’s the second character in Year 3 and follows Sagat, who was added to the roster on August 5. The remaining two characters are pro wrestler Alex in early spring 2026 and Ingrid in late spring 2026.

Once again, C. Viper will employ a technical arsenal of gadget-based attacks. At launch, she’ll have two outfits available, with the first reflecting her new role at SiRN. The second outfit draws inspiration from her original look and can be acquired either with Fighter Coins or by maxing out her bond in World Tour mode.

Alongside her launch on October 15, Street Fighter 6 will celebrate the 30th anniversary of classic visual novel Banshee’s Last Cry with a special crossover. Players can look forward to a new World Tour episode as free content, Battle Hub decorations, and free items if they log in during the campaign period. Zangief will also get a mecha-inspired Outfit 4 on the same day, and to celebrate, Capcom is collaborating with metal band Cavalera Conspiracy. More details on that collaboration will come soon, but it will include the release of an original music track from the band.

As someone who grew up spending dozens, if not hundreds, of hours playing Street Fighter II and all its variants, I really loved Street Fighter 6. In my review, I likened it to Monster Hunter World for the Monster Hunter series, meaning Street Fighter 6 significantly lowered the barrier to entry, attracting an all-new audience to the genre.
