Nintendo Switch 2 owners will have the opportunity to experience three modern Resident Evil games, all on the same day, when Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem launch on February 27, 2026. Resident Evil Requiem is the latest entry in the series, and Capcom has now confirmed that it will release the Switch 2 version alongside other consoles and PC on the same day. It’s set approximately 30 years after the outbreak in Raccoon City and follows Grace Ashcroft, a young FBI analyst and daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft.

Joining Resident Evil Requiem on that day are Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition. It seems a bit strange that Capcom has decided to release all three titles on the same day, but maybe it needs as much time as possible to optimize the ports for Switch 2 hardware. Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition includes the full game, the “Not a Hero” chapter, and all additional DLC, while Resident Evil Village Gold Edition features the base game, the Winters Expansion, and the Trauma Pack. Official pricing was not announced in the press release.
