Over 12 minutes of new Songs of the Past gameplay is now available to watch, courtesy of a showcase supercut CD Projekt Red compiled from its gamescom 2026 presentation. The footage offers a taste of Geralt’s next adventure as he travels to the brand new realm of Letten, and it arrives about a month after the studio confirmed the expansion would appear at gamescom. “Feels good to be back on the Path,” the team wrote alongside the video.
Songs of the Past is the third expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the first new one since Blood and Wine arrived back in 2016. Letten is entirely new to the game. The supercut pulls together the gameplay CD Projekt Red presented during gamescom, giving anyone who wasn’t following the show a place to see what the expansion looks like in motion.
Songs of the Past isn’t the only recent Witcher news, either, with Witcher 3 Remastered arriving September 29 as a free upgrade and The Witcher 4 targeting a 2028 release window. Songs of the Past launches in 2027 on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC via GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Battle.net.
