Ubisoft is expanding where you can grab The Division Resurgence, announcing today that its free-to-play looter shooter is making its way to Steam. The third-person shooter RPG, which we reviewed when it launched on mobile back in March, is now available to wishlist on Steam, giving it a second PC storefront alongside Ubisoft Connect.
For anyone who hasn’t kept up with it, The Division Resurgence is a mobile-first take on Tom Clancy’s The Division that turns New York City into a shared open world, complete with the series’ signature PvPvE spaces like the Dark Zone and Conflict. It carries a brand-new standalone story that can be tackled solo or with up to three other players, and it supports full cross-play and cross-progression between mobile and PC. The game is already live as a free download on Android, iOS, and PC early access through Ubisoft Connect, with the official PC launch set to follow in Season 2 this August.
Ubisoft is leaning on a Year 1 roadmap to keep things moving, promising fresh content roughly every six weeks. That cadence covers Speed Run challenges, new cosmetic sets, additional Classified Ops passes, the official PC version, and a major story expansion down the line.
