The Xenoblade Chronicles X world is looking to be very massive and very open, based on the latest exploration trailer that Nintendo shared earlier this morning during a Nintendo Direct event. The game is being developed by Monolith Soft, the same company that created the wonderful Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii and this time around, the game will center around a team of survivors that crash landed on an mysterious world filled with large creatures and beautiful wildlife.

No release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X has been announced, but it is expected to be released sometime this year in the U.S. The company did reveal that it will be available in Japan starting April 29, 2015. For those that didn’t get a chance to check out Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii, you might want to grab the remake on the new 3DS XL when it’s released sometime in April in the U.S – which was also confirmed by Nintendo earlier this morning.
