Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for August 2023, which includes the previously announced Sea of Stars, available upon its launch on August 29. The rest of the games are available starting Tuesday, August 15, including Moving Out 2 which is also another day one release.

Sea of Stars, available on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, is a turn-based RPG heavily inspired by the classics. After checking out the demo that is currently available, we are very much looking forward to the release of the full game.

Moving Out 2, the sequel to Moving Out, reintroduces players to the world of Smooth Moves’ Furniture Arrangement and Relocation Technicians. The game introduces online co-operative gameplay with cross-play, enabling players worldwide to collaboratively maneuver furniture.

Next up is Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, which does require Destiny 2’s base game to play. The DLC was originally released on February 22, 2022 and has players delving into Savathûn’s Throne World. One of the more exciting titles in this month’s lineup is Lost Judgment, a sequel to the 2018 game Judgment. Lost Judgment once again places players in the role of Takayuki Yagami, a lawyer turned street-fighting detective.

For lighthearted entertainment, check out Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed, an open-world action-adventure game by Black Forest Games. It’s a remake of the original 2006 game, and it’s just as silly and fun as it sounds. Simulation game enthusiasts might want to explore Two Point Hospital: Jumbo Edition. In our two-hour review of Two Point Hospital, we found it extremely fun and couldn’t wait to spend more time with it.

A side-scrolling, dark action roguelite comes in the form of Source of Madness, which takes place in a twisted Lovecraftian-inspired world powered by procedural generation and AI machine learning. There’s also Cursed to Golf, a game that somehow blends the genres of golfing with roguelike.

Dreams, another addition to the Game Catalog, is also a PlayStation Plus Monthly Game for August. Players also get the added benefit of checking out Media Molecule’s latest game, Tren, in Dreams.

Younger gamers can check out PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night and Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures. The remaining games in August’s lineup are Lawn Moving Simulator: Landmark Edition, Spellforce III Reforced, and Midnight Fight Express.

PlayStation Premium members can access these Classics:

  • MediEvil: Resurrection
  • Ape Escape: On the Loose
  • Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
