It’s that time of the year again when gaming platforms remind you just how much time you spent gaming in the past year. The PlayStation 2025 Wrap-Up is available starting today through January 8, 2026, letting PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players see their gaming achievements for the year, including most played games and genres, total hours played, a personalized PlayStation Plus playlist, and trophy milestones. The wrap-up also has insights into gameplay with accessories, such as the PlayStation VR2, PlayStation Portal, and, for me, the DualSense Edge wireless controller.

The wrap-up isn’t set in stone either, as it’ll continue to update through the end of the year. Those who go through the entire wrap-up experience can redeem a unique glass-themed avatar and get access to their summary card to share with friends.

This year, I spent a lot less time with PlayStation than I did last year. In 2024, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth ate up over 234 hours of my time as I struggled to get the Platinum trophy. There was also Metaphor: ReFantazio, which consumed another 95 hours or so, while Unicorn Overlord contributed to 48 hours of my playtime. This year, though, my top game was surprisingly Wuthering Waves, which I actually stopped playing halfway through the year. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Ghost of Yōtei both hovered around the 35-hour mark, while Blue Prince got 27 hours out of me. I definitely spent a lot more time gaming on PC this year, and the PlayStation was basically used for console exclusives.
