It’s that time of year again. Sony has officially confirmed that Days of Play 2026 will run from May 27 at 12:01 AM through June 10 at 11:59 PM local time, with PlayStation 5 hardware and accessory discounts, PlayStation Plus content, PlayStation Tournaments, and hundreds of game deals on the PlayStation Store. The two-week promotion follows the same general structure as Days of Play 2025, with PlayStation Plus content stacked at the front and game/hardware deals running through the full window.
Kicking things off on the PlayStation Plus side are the Monthly Games for June 2026, which include Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. EA Sports FC 26 also sticks around from May’s lineup through June 16. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers get a bonus Game Catalog addition on June 9 with Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2025), which includes The Final Shape expansion. The timing of that is interesting, since Destiny 2 is receiving its final content update on that exact date. The rest of June’s Game Catalog lineup gets fully revealed next month.
PlayStation Plus Premium members also get access to Game Trials of more than 40 indie titles from May 27 through June 10, including Baby Steps, Lumines Arise, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which remains one of the best games I’ve ever played. All PlayStation players, regardless of subscription tier, can also redeem free PlayStation Indies-themed avatars starting June 4. Three exclusive packs are also part of the promotion, including an EA Sports FC 26 Icons Player Pack, a War of Tanks: HEAT pack with currency and skins, and a Marathon Null Tempest Digital Bundle on June 2.
On the hardware side, Sony is running discounts across the PlayStation 5 accessory lineup. PlayStation VR2 is $100 off, the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds are $50 off, the Pulse Elite wireless headset is $40 off, and both the DualSense Edge wireless controller and Access controller are $30 off. Standard DualSense controllers see up to $20 off. PlayStation Plus members in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the U.K. also get an extra 5 percent off PS5 hardware and accessories when ordering directly from PlayStation.
Game discounts on the PlayStation Store will include Ghost of Yōtei, Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered, with hundreds more titles on offer through June 10. PlayStation Plus members also get additional discounts on selected titles like Cairn, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and Balatro. New or returning PlayStation Plus subscribers can save up to 33 percent on a 12-month membership, while existing Essential and Extra members can save 33 percent on the remainder of their subscription when upgrading to Premium or Deluxe.
PlayStation Tournaments are also part of the lineup, with brackets running across EA Sports Madden NFL 26, NBA 2K26, Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1, EA Sports UFC 5, EA Sports College Football 26, Gran Turismo 7, Astro Bot, Asphalt 9: Legends, and Fortnite. Anyone who participates in at least one match earns a unique Days of Play PSN avatar and gets entered into a sweepstakes for a PlayStation Portal, a DualSense Edge controller, 12 months of PlayStation Plus Premium, and $100 in PlayStation Store credit. The Fortnite Days of Play Cup is also competing for a piece of a $200,000 global cash prize pool.
Sony Pictures Core also gets an additional 15 percent off movies storewide for PlayStation Plus members, which isn’t as exciting as the rest of the promotion but is worth mentioning. The official Days of Play 2026 website has the full list of regional details and ongoing updates throughout the promotion.
