PlayStation’s next limited edition DualSense isn’t tied to a game at all, as it’s a collaboration with Blackpink’s Lisa that goes up for preorder on October 2. Sony first worked with Lisa last year on a global PlayStation 5 ad campaign, and the two are following that up with the Lisa Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller and a merchandise collection she helped design. According to the PlayStation Blog, her bangs and eyes are printed across the controller’s touch pad, joined by her signature stars and bold “LL” lettering. All of it is set against Chroma Pearl, one of the colors from 2024’s Chroma Collection and Lisa’s personal favorite.

“Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax, so getting to create this collection with PlayStation was very exciting,” said Lisa. “I had a lot of fun adding in little details that I knew my fans would notice, and I wanted the fans to have something they can connect with.”

The Lisa Limited Edition controller launches on October 30 for $84.99 (¥12,480 including tax / €84.99 / £74.99), and Sony says it will only be available in highly limited quantities. As we noted with the two GTA VI controllers earlier this month, that’s the same price Sony has set for every limited edition DualSense from God of War to Wolverine. We also said at the time that these controllers have gone from occasional to routine, and this one follows the Wolverine and GTA VI designs from the past two months. Preorders open October 2 at 7:00 AM Pacific (10:00 AM Eastern) in the U.S. through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers, and at 10:00 AM local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

As for the Lisa x PlayStation merchandise, that part of the collaboration is only launching in the U.S., and it includes apparel, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers, and a DualSense controller carrying case. The collection is split into two assortments, both of which will be available in limited quantities. Select items go up for preorder through PlayStation Direct alongside the controller on October 2 before launching on October 30, while additional items launch on October 23 through Lisa’s official Amazon store and the Amazon Music app. That’s the same day Lisa’s new EP, Press Play, is set to release.
