Mobile billing is now available for the PlayStation Store, which means you can purchase games and have the charge appear on your next phone bill. Though this could be dangerous for parents with that have cell phones, it’s a good option for those that don’t want to give up their credit card or PayPal info. The “Use Mobile” option will now appear when you go to Add Funds to your wallet, and after entering your phone number, you’ll have to respond via SMS text message to confirm the payment method. The charge from the PlayStation Store will then appear on your next phone bill or debited against your pre-paid account.
It was recently announced that PlayStation Store purchases made from a mobile smartphone will also wake the PlayStation 4 from sleep mode in order to download your game. Afterwards, the next-generation console will automatically go back into sleep mode.
