More Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy cards and products weren’t the only things Wizards of the Coast shared with the broader gaming community today. Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a PlayStation collaboration with Magic: The Gathering in the form of a Secret Lair Superdrop. That means PlayStation won’t be getting its own Universes Beyond set; instead, there will be seven Secret Lair drops with cards covering the worlds of The Last of Us, God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, Uncharted, and Ghost of Tsushima.

As expected, each card will feature iconic characters, key locations, and items from popular PlayStation franchises, reimagined as Magic: The Gathering cards. In creating those cards, Wizards of the Coast worked closely with the respective studios to capture each game’s spirit. You can see some of the cards in a detailed post on the PlayStation Blog, and it’s no surprise to see Joel, Ellie, and Abby from The Last of Us, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, Kratos and Atreus from God of War, Aloy from Horizon Forbidden West, and Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima. The Last of Us will get two drops, one for Part I and one for Part II, while God of War will get one each for its Greek and Norse eras.

The Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair x PlayStation Superdrop will be available on October 27 at 9:00 AM Pacific (12:00 PM Eastern), and, as usual, each drop will be offered in foil and non-foil versions.
