XBOX is adding another piece to its 25th anniversary celebration, opening preorders for the Designed for XBOX 25th Anniversary Collection, a seven-product accessory lineup from Razer, 8BitDo, Backbone, PowerA, and GameSir. The whole set leans on the same nostalgic translucent green as the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition console revealed back in June, pulling design cues from the original 2001 hardware.
Razer accounts for three of the seven products in the collection, starting with the Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, a wireless ergonomic mouse with up to 140 hours of battery life, Razer’s Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor Gen-2, and a 4-way scroll wheel. The BlackWidow V4 75% is a compact, hot-swappable mechanical keyboard with Chroma RGB lighting, and this anniversary edition adds an exclusive XBOX key that automatically launches Game Bar.
Rounding out Razer’s trio, the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed earbuds deliver low-latency 2.4GHz audio through Razer HyperSpeed Wireless alongside Bluetooth 5.3, covering phones, tablets, PCs, and more. The charging case supports SmartSwitch Dual Wireless for jumping between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth devices, and total battery life reaches up to 35 hours, with 10 hours from the buds and another 25 from the pocketable case, which also tops up over USB-C passthrough.
On the charging side, the 8BitDo Ultimate Charging Dock X25 Special Edition wraps the transparent green treatment around a modern charging setup, with compatibility covering XBOX One and XBOX Series X|S wireless controllers.
The Backbone Pro XBOX 25th Anniversary Edition revives three heritage colorways in Iconic Blue, Bold Orange, and Crystal Clear, each a nod to the original hardware from 2001. The catch is the blind box format. Buyers get one box with no way of knowing which of the three variants is inside until they open it. It follows the Backbone Pro XBOX Edition, which launched at $179.99.
For those carrying a handheld around, the PowerA XBOX Sling Bag is designed to fit the ROG XBOX Ally and ROG XBOX Ally X, the latter being the handheld I’ve been using since launch. The crossbody bag has four compartments to organize a device, headset, controller, phone, and accessories, with a padded main compartment that includes a moveable insert and thumbstick protectors. A breathable mesh back panel, wide adjustable strap, cable pass-through, and elastic mesh pockets handle the practical details.
Mobile players get the GameSir X5 Lite for XBOX, a controller finished in the translucent green anniversary colorway with official XBOX licensing and Apple MFi certification, covering Android and iOS alongside XBOX Game Pass access.
Every item in the collection is up for preorder now through each manufacturer’s site, though today’s announcement doesn’t include pricing or release dates, so you’ll want to check the individual product pages for those numbers. As we noted when the Series X25 console was revealed, this collection is just one of several ways XBOX is celebrating 25 years, with the FanFest world tour still making its way around the globe.
