XBOX officially turns 25 on November 15, and the company is filling the months leading up to it with a steady stream of anniversary extras. Today’s batch includes community-created profile designs, a free anniversary badge, curated Game Pass collections, and the full city-by-city schedule for the FanFest tour announced back in April.
Starting with the designs, XBOX partnered with Klobrille and Ben Kenobi, two creators from the XBOX community, on a collection of gamerpics, backgrounds, and a dynamic console theme, all available today through your console or the XBOX app on PC. Anyone who signs in to their XBOX account on console, PC, or the mobile app will also receive the XBOX 25th Anniversary profile badge, which can be displayed through the end of 2026. Both arrive ahead of the anniversary proper in November, the same month the translucent OG Green Series X25 collection hits shelves.
On the Game Pass side, XBOX is putting together curated collections of memorable games from each of its four console generations, playable on console and/or PC, with titles like Fable Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4, and Psychonauts 2. The timing works out nicely for anyone wanting to revisit the early days, especially since original XBOX games arrived on PC for the first time just last month.
As for the FanFest tour, which kicked off in Los Angeles at the June Showcase, the remaining stops are now locked in: Cologne on August 26 during gamescom, Tokyo on September 17 during Tokyo Game Show, London on September 26, Mexico City and Sydney both on October 17, and Toronto on November 6. Tickets for every stop are awarded through city-specific sweepstakes on the XBOX FanFest page. As we noted when the tour was announced, this is the biggest FanFest effort XBOX has ever put together. Funny enough, Seattle, the closest thing XBOX has to a hometown stop, is the only city still without a date, listed only with more info coming soon.
