Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have locked in a release date for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, with the single-player survival horror game launching October 8, 2026, on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It’s the first video game set in the Hellraiser universe, landing a few weeks before Halloween. Pinhead previously appeared as a guest character in Dead by Daylight before being pulled from that game in April 2025.

The story follows Aidan, who makes a pact with Pinhead and unlocks the powers of the Genesis Configuration, the puzzle box at the center of the series. He uses it to rescue his girlfriend Sunny from a realm of torment known as the Labyrinth. Franchise creator Clive Barker collaborated on the new story, and Doug Bradley, who played Pinhead across the original films, returns to voice him.

Hellraiser: Revival comes from Saber Interactive, the developer behind World War Z and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 that also revealed an untitled John Wick game earlier this year. Built in Unreal Engine 5, it’s a first-person survival horror game that mixes combat, stealth, and puzzle-solving against the Cenobites, cultists, and other enemies. The Genesis Configuration factors into both fighting and puzzles, granting abilities like pyrokinesis, telekinesis, and the series’ Hell Chains.

Hellraiser: Revival launches in two editions, with a digital and physical Standard Edition at $39.99 and a Deluxe Edition at $49.99 whose full contents will be detailed closer to launch. Preorders open soon. Anyone who preorders either edition unlocks two in-game cosmetics at release, the Labyrinth Pistol Skin and the Martyr Sawblade Skin. There are also two Collector’s Editions available through the official Boss Team Games store, each bundling licensed collectibles along with all of the Deluxe and preorder bonus content.

A red band cut of the release date trailer is also available on the official site for anyone who wants the uncensored version.
