The winners of the 29th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards have been announced, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 takes home another Game of the Year award. It wasn’t the only trophy the game took home tonight, as it also won for Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Story, Role-Playing Game of the Year, and Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction. It’s been a whirlwind for the team at Sandfall Interactive as it continues to set records and collect trophies.
We also had Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as our favorite game of 2025. From its soundtrack and characters to its overall story and world, there was a lot to fall in love with. Perhaps the biggest surprise is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 not taking home the Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition, considering that one thing almost everyone agrees on is that the soundtrack is exquisite.
