Mighty No. 9 is getting an animated series that is being produced by Tokyo-based Digital Frontier. This past weekend, a teaser trailer for the Mighty No. 9 animated series was released at Anime Expo in Los Angeles. In addition, Comcept has announced a second funding campaign to deliver English voice acting to the game, which will be released in spring 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Linux, 2DS, 3DS and Wii U.
The Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter campaign raised 4 million last year and the new round of funding will be done through PayPal donations only. According to Keiji Inafune, anything collected in this round will be put towards new features and gives those that missed a chance to donate last time, an opportunity to do so now.
