A new Mighty No. 9 alpha was shown off at this year’s GDC, revealing more information on Mighty No. 1 through Mighty No. 9. The new alpha video also showcases more gameplay than we’ve seen previously including Mighty No. 9’s ability to dash to finish enemies off in additional to being able to shoot diagonally. Most importantly, it appears that Comcept is focusing on nailing down the gameplay and feeling of the game before focusing on all the other stuff in the game. The alpha is clearly designed to showcase how the game will feel and it surely appears to be a great spiritual successor to the Mega Man series.
