Comcept has shared a new video of Mighty No. 9 that includes 90 seconds of gameplay and a look at Call, an additional playable character that was added as a stretch goal to the game’s Kickstarter campaign. There’s some work-in-progress footage of Call that shows her crawling and alludes to her having a pink jetpack, though it doesn’t show it being used. Most exciting though, the latest video shows off significant progress being made in the game’s development and it’s shaping up to truly be a worthy spiritual successor to the Mega Man franchise.
This is also the first footage we have of the Mighty No. 2 and Mighty No. 5 stages, including a boss fight. Mighty No. 9 is scheduled to be released in spring 2015 and will be heading to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Mac, PC, Linux, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 2DS, 3DS and Wii U.
