Comcept has shown off its latest Mighty No. 9 ROM and it’s full of surprises. If you’re a fan of the upcoming spiritual successor to Mega Man, you’ll get a good laugh out of what Comcept worked up for its April Fools’ joke.
Mighty No. 9 is another Kickstarter success story, backed by Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man. The spiritual successor to the popular series will be heading to virtually every console imaginable (PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, 2DS, 3DS, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC) thanks to its $4 million in crowdfunding. The game is currently in development by Comcept and previously the company has shown a couple of (legit) ROM videos with alpha gameplay. Comcept hopes to release the game sometime in 2015.
