If you’re no longer enthralled with February’s top releases, which included Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, Avowed, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and our most anticipated game of the year, Monster Hunter Wilds, there is plenty to look forward to in March. The month brings a good variety of new releases in March 2025, from co-op games like Split Fiction to the delayed Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and the game I’m most looking forward to is Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition.
Check out FullCleared’s selection of the top games to play in March 2025 below.
Two Point Museum

From the creators of Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus comes Two Point Museum, where players are in charge of designing, managing, and developing incredible museums. Those who have played previous Two Point Studios titles will know what to expect from Two Point Museum. The game will feature five unique locations in Two Point County, along with three pop-up museums with set tasks and challenges. There’s also a sandbox mode, so players can build their very own mega museums. In total, Two Point Museum will have six main exhibit types and 30-plus subcategories of exhibits with over 200 unique exhibits to uncover.
Two Point Museum releases on March 4, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Split Fiction

Hazelight Studios is back with its next creation: Split Fiction. After winning the 2021 Game of the Year at the Game Awards with It Takes Two, the studio built on that formula for its next co-op creation. Split Fiction will once again require two players but supports the Friends Pass. This means only one of the two players needs to own a copy of the game, and they can invite their friend to play for free. Split Fiction stars Mio and Zoe, two contrasting writers who get trapped in their own stories. One writes sci-fi while the other writes fantasy, setting the tone for all the different environments that players will encounter in this co-op adventure. We are huge fans of A Way Out and It Takes Two, so we’re really looking forward to experiencing Split Fiction as soon as it’s available.
Split Fiction releases on March 6, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars

I have fond memories of spending dozens of hours playing the original Suikoden on PlayStation, and I was extremely happy to hear that a remaster package is in the works. Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars might be an absurdly long game title, but it’s going to be a must-play for classic JRPG fans. The HD remaster features both Suikoden I and Suikoden II with added HD background illustrations, updated effects, new environmental sounds, HD battle sound effects, an auto-save feature, battle fast forward, and a conversation log.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars releases on March 6, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
Rise of the Ronin (PC)

Rise of the Ronin isn’t a new game, but it will finally leave the PlayStation ecosystem when it launches on PC. From Team Ninja, the creators of Nioh and Ninja Gaiden, Rise of the Ronin is an open-world RPG set in the Bakumatsu period. Features exclusive to the PC version include support for 8K, ultrawide, and super-ultrawide monitors, DirectX 12 Ultimate, 120 FPS, ray tracing, 3D audio, AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution (FSR), NVIDIA DLSS and Reflex, and Intel XeSS. Players take on the role of a nameless ronin and can choose from various melee weapons, including katana, spear, and odachi. With multiple possible endings, players can choose which faction to support in their playthroughs, as their destinies evolve based on the choices they make.
Rise of the Ronin releases on March 11, 2025 on PC.
Wanderstop

Wanderstop has flown under the radar a bit, but it comes from a new indie studio called Ivy Road, helmed by Davey Wreden (creator of The Stanley Parable and The Beginner’s Guide), Karla Zimonja (co-creator of Gone Home and Tacoma), and Daniel “C418” Rosenfeld (music for Minecraft). While it is a new studio, it is being supported by Annapurna Interactive, which is publishing Wanderstop. The upcoming cozy game focuses on storytelling and narratives about change and tea. Players take on the role of Alta, who was a fallen fighter and now manages a tea shop within a magical forest. So yeah, it is a tea shop management game starring someone who doesn’t even want to manage a tea shop.
Wanderstop releases on March 11, 2025 on PlayStation 5 and PC.
WWE 2K25

Really, if you’re a fan of WWE games from 2K, you probably already have the release dates circled on your calendar. But in case you’re new to the series, the latest entry, WWE 2K25, will bring a stacked roster featuring over 300 iconic wrestlers from multiple generations. The game features an all-new Showcase, The Bloodline’s Dynasty, hosted by “The Wiseman” Paul Heyman. It celebrates one of the most historic family dynasties in wrestling, allowing players to relive legendary showdowns or dream matches between The Bloodline and WWE Superstars and legends.
WWE 2K25 releases on March 14, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
MLB The Show 25

Similar to the WWE series, baseball fans likely already have MLB The Show on their radar. For 2025, the franchise is introducing new features focused on enhancing on-field realism with Ambush Hitting, G.O.A.T. Difficulty, and hundreds of original player animations thanks to ShowTech. Just to prove that it’s paying attention to recent gaming trends, MLB The Show 25 even adds a new roguelike game mode called Diamond Quest. Who would have thought roguelike elements could apply to a sports game?
MLB The Show 25 releases on March 18, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Ubisoft has a lot riding on the next entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The game was originally set to release on November 15, 2024, before it was delayed twice. Following the disappointing launch of Star Wars Outlaws, it appears Ubisoft is at least trying to ensure Assassin’s Creed Shadows meets expectations, because honestly, this game needs to be a success for Ubisoft. Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes place in Feudal Japan, and players can choose between Naoe, a shinobi Assassin, and Yasuke, a legendary samurai. When they want to take a break from slicing apart their enemies, players can customize a hideout for their growing shinobi league.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows releases on March 20, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition

Every Xenoblade Chronicles fan has been wondering when Xenoblade Chronicles X will make its way to the Nintendo Switch. After all, it was one of just a few remaining first-party Wii U games that hadn’t been ported to the Switch. Although it’s happening at the tail end of the console’s life, with the Switch 2 confirmed to release sometime this year, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition should still be a must-play for all Switch owners who are RPG fans. It’s easily my favorite Wii U release ever, and while it’s hard to rank it among the numbered Xenoblade Chronicles games due to its differences, the experience in X stands on its own.
The setting takes place in 2054, after Earth has been destroyed and what’s left of humanity is on the run. A small number of survivors crash onto the planet Mira, and that’s where you, as a member of the New Los Angeles colony’s Blade organization, strive to bring humanity back from the edge of extinction. It’s one of my most anticipated games of the year, and I can’t wait to replay it with better visuals and other quality-of-life enhancements.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition releases on March 20, 2025 on Switch.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land

The Atelier series is one of the most impressive in gaming, considering it is nearly 30 years old and has 26 mainline games, including the upcoming Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land. The 27th mainline title in the franchise has already been announced, called Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian, and that should also launch sometime this year. As for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land, it is a story about Yumia and her companions confronting memories in a world where alchemy is considered a dangerous art that brings destruction. As a lone alchemist who descends from a line of alchemists, Yumia embarks on a journey to uncover the lost history of the Aladissian Empire while discovering whether alchemy is truly evil.
Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land releases on March 21, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.
Killing Floor 3

Tripwire Interactive is back, and Killing Floor 3 should be at the top of the list for everyone who loves co-op action FPS games. As the third entry in the popular Killing Floor franchise, Killing Floor 3 takes place in 2091, and the megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army of zeds. Players join the rebel group Nightfall, which serves as the last line of defense against Horzine’s army. The popular series has become a staple in the horde FPS genre, and Killing Floor 3 promises to bring the fastest, deadliest, and most strategic zeds yet. So, bring up to five other friends in this six-player co-op FPS, or take on the hordes by yourself in single-player mode.
Killing Floor 3 releases on March 25, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Atomfall

The developers behind the popular Sniper Elite series are readying Atomfall, a survival-action game inspired by real-life events. Set five years after the Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England, Atomfall places players in a fictional quarantine zone where they can scavenge, craft, barter, fight, and talk their way through the British countryside. The game seems to be a mix of Fallout and S.T.A.L.K.E.R., with a focus on narrative and choices that will have consequences.
Atomfall releases on March 27, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The First Berserker: Khazan

Those who are seeking a hardcore action RPG should check out The First Berserker: Khazan. Based in the Dungeon Fighter Online (DnF) universe, it is set 800 years before the events of DnF and tells Khazan’s untold story. Players will traverse the continent of Arad, experiencing Khazan’s legendary journey through epic boss fights combined with hack-and-slash combat. Visually, the game features 3D cel-shaded art that cleverly blends realistic textures to capture animated film styles. There are many different weapon choices and armor to collect, including dual-wield weapons, spears, and greatswords. This results in a variety of skills that cater to different gameplay styles. If you’re curious about The First Berserker: Khazan, a demo is available.
The First Berserker: Khazan releases on March 27, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
