Gran Turismo 6 will be available in North America in less than 24 hours, but if you can’t wait to get your hands on the next instalment of the storied franchise, Polyphony Digital and Sony have released the opening video to Gran Turismo 6.
It was recently revealed that Gran Turismo 6 will feature microtransactions, allowing virtual racers to purchase in-game credits with money in order to avoid racing over and over in order to afford the cars they want in their garage. While many could argue that microtransactions ruin Gran Turismo 6, it’s worth remembering that the prices of the cars in the game haven’t been inflated as some are reporting. Previous Gran Turismo titles had cars costing 20-million credits, so that’s nothing new. What remains to be unseen however is if players will be able to earn credits at the same rate as previous games in the franchise.
