The Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter has gone well past the $2.6-million mark with four days left meaning it’ll be a close call on whether or not the game will be developed for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ($3.3-million goal). Comcept also recently added another stretch goal at $3.75 million for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 2DS / 3DS versions. But it appears that gamers will be content enough with Mighty No. 9 heading to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
But as promised, the team has released the first episode of the four-part Mighty No. 9 documentary series that will give us an inside look behind the idea of upcoming game and how it will come to fruition. The first episode of the Mighty No. 9 documentary was actually filmed before the launch of the Kickstarter and chronicles up to the release of the Kickstarter page. In the documentary, Keiji Inafune talks openly about his past and his hopes for the future, which looks to be bright with the overwhelming support for Mighty No. 9.
