Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was confirmed tonight at the VGX and will be a new version of this year’s Tomb Raider “re-built specifically for next gen consoles.” Tomb Raider Definitive Edition will be released on January 28, 2014 and will be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition will be priced at $59.99 for both consoles and will include all of the DLC, six outfits for Lara, a digital mini art book and the digital comic “The Beginning.”

According to Square Enix, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition will feature a new Lara Croft model and thanks to TRESS FX technology, she’ll have “realistic hair simulation and motion.” The game will run at 1080p and all textures have been created at four times resolution for maximum detail.
