The Witcher 4 is inevitable, given the huge success of The Witcher 3 and even the recent Netflix adaptation. It was only a matter of time before CD Projekt Red began development on The Witcher 4, and recently the team confirmed that the game had entered a full production phase. So it’s a bit of a surprise that it already has a trailer to show to the world. While it is clearly a cinematic trailer and we shouldn’t have any expectations for gameplay anytime soon, it confirms that an older Ciri will be the protagonist and that the game will start a new saga.

Also of note, the footage in The Witcher 4’s trailer was captured on an unannounced NVIDIA RTX GPU, indicating that developers have access to 5000 Series GPUs for development.
