Voxel-based destruction game Teardown is launching on PlayStation 5 this November 15. Originally announced in May during a PlayStation Showcase, Teardown will also be part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on day one for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. Developer Tuxedo Labs also announced a series of new missions, maps, vehicles, and other content that will be added to Teardown over the next year, along with the game’s first-ever season pass.

For those new to Teardown, Tuxedo Labs recommends starting with the story campaign, which features 40 levels to test your creativity and logic. After you’ve gotten used to how Teardown works through the campaign, there’s a freeform Sandbox Mode where you can explore all the maps you’ve unlocked in the campaign without limitations. There is also Creative Mode, which is focused on building rather than destroying. There, you can construct your own buildings, sculptures, and more.

Teardown’s launch on PlayStation 5 will also mark the arrival of the Time Campers DLC. This is a campaign expansion set in the wild west, introducing a new storyline that takes players back in time with old-fashioned weapons and tools. More DLCs are in development for Teardown, with Folkrace coming in spring 2024. That DLC will put players behind the wheel of a fleet of unique vehicles for new racing modes and destructive challenges. Two more DLCs are planned for 2024, although Tuxedo Labs has not yet shared details about them.
